A new development in Westfield is moving forward after a rezone was introduced July 27, with plans calling for up to 270 new homes on 127 acres on the west side of Eagletown Road south of 186th Street.
The Westfield City Council reviewed the proposal for the Eagle West neighborhood in first reading during its July 27 meeting. Ryan Collingwood, associate city planner with the city’s Community Development Department, told the council that the development would offer single-family homes for sale, with a central amenity space, a tree preservation plan and trails that connect to existing public trails.
