The Fourth of July is always an exciting time in Westfield, IN. This year, Independence Day celebrations in Westfield are set to be even bigger and better, befitting the buzz around America 250. Events get underway on Thursday, July 2, and continue into the weekend.
Westfield Economic Development encourages residents, businesses, and visitors alike to experience all the events, from Thursday’s farmer’s market to Saturday’s Fourth of July festival. As the nation prepares for America 250, celebrations in Westfield will be particularly special. Toss on some red, white, and blue, bring the whole family, and get ready for a weekend of fun! Check out a full rundown of upcoming Fourth of July activities below:
Thursday, July 2: Red, White & Bloom at Westfield Farmers Market
When: 5 to 8 p.m.
Where: Grand Junction Plaza (225 S. Union Street)
The Westfield Farmers Market is well-known for its diverse lineup of vendors, offering fresh local produce, artisan foods, handmade goods, and much more. On Thursday, July 2, the farmers market will kick off Westfield’s Fourth of July celebrations with a “Red, White and Bloom” theme.

Friday, July 3: Freedom Parade & Kickoff Concert
When: 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: North Union Street
Westfield’s Fourth of July celebrations continue Friday night with the annual Freedom Parade & Kickoff Concert. The parade, bringing together Westfield’s citizens, organizations, businesses, and performers for an evening of patriotic fun, will stretch along North Union Street before concluding at Union Bible College.
The parade is only the beginning of the evening’s festivities. Afterward, all are invited to enjoy food vendors, airbrush artists, balloon twisters, and much more at Grand Junction Plaza. The Jason Lee McKinney Band will play a free concert at 7:30. Westfield Basile Playhouse will honor America’s past with live historical performances. Saturday, July 4: Westfield Rocks the 4th
When: 4 to 10:30 p.m.
Where: Droplight Grand Park Sports Campus
In Hamilton County, Westfield Rocks the 4th is a can’t-miss Independence Day event. Free and open to the public, it will feature a full evening of activities and performances, culminating with a fireworks and drone show at 10 p.m.
Attractions will include live music, food and retail vendors, and the fun-filled Kids Zone, featuring obstacle courses, face painting, balloon twisting, bounce houses, and more kid-friendly entertainment.
Note: Kids Zone tickets are required for children aged 4 and up. Children aged three and younger can enter for free, but a free ticket is still required. Click here for Kids Zone tickets.
The Main Stage Schedule for Saturday is as follows:
- 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.: The Flying Toasters
- 7:05 p.m.: Honor Guard and National Anthem
- 7:15 p.m.: Frank’s Hot Dog Eating Contest
- 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.: The 1985
- 10:00 p.m.: Fireworks and drone show
