Hamilton County Commissioners review funding priorities for Community Development Block Grant program

The Hamilton County Commissioners reviewed priorities for the county’s Community Development Block Grant program at their July 13 meeting.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the CDBG program provides resources to local governments to expand economic opportunities, build public facilities and develop affordable housing.
The total funding available for 2026 is just more than $2.54 million, combining a new 2026 allocation of $1,179,216 with remaining funds from previous years.
