The transformation of downtown Westfield is moving briskly. Plans for increased density, housing, retail space and public plazas though the center of town is set to take shape in 2026.
The revamp of downtown is a collaboration of the city’s economic development, public works and the parks departments. The Union at Grand Junction opened in summer 2025.
On Dec. 9, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for The Grand on Main, a $105 million mixed-use retail and residential planned unit development between Ind. 32 and Jersey Street.
