Special Olympics fall competition returning to Westfield

Special Olympics Indiana Fall Competition has begun and will return to Grand Park in Westfield Oct. 4 for cornhole, distance running and walking, flag football and soccer.
Westfield is only one stop in the fall games, which began Aug. 15 with the equestrian state competition at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds in Danville. The events continue Sept. 12 with softball at the Center Grove Lassie League in Greenwood, followed by golf at Hickory Stick Golf Club in Greenwood and pickleball at The Picklr at Keystone Crossing in Indianapolis Sept. 13. After the Westfield events in October, the series concludes with Unified Volleyball at The Academy Volleyball Club in Indianapolis Nov. 21.
